This Week in Metal | Top 5 New Releases

Alright Y'all! For the Bandcamp code giveaway… I reached out to Shane (he already got his code) and the person with the second-most total merch orders. Once I hear back from the second person, I will pin a comment either on this video or the next one (depending on how quickly that person gets back to me) with the remaining third code.

The first one to download it gets it. I apologize for how messy this giveaway is. I literally decided to do it while I was filming the unboxing and didn't have any plan for how to actually deliver the codes 😆

Going forward, I would like to have a better system. I do think I should reward people who have supported the channel whenever I can, so I feel like giving Shane the first code was the right thing to do; however, I don't want to limit things like this to whales, like in a mobile phone game. So, I'm open to any suggestions on other criteria if we do things like this in the future.

Deceptor released Reign of Terror on Friday. Album is some fast evil thrash, and the cover is chefs kiss. Saw them Friday in Raleigh with some real local talents.

Unfortunately, it isn’t a metal album but the new Chelsea Wolfe definitely wins the weekend of new releases. Top tier non-metal for metalheads. 🖤

So jelly for the vinyls you got. Awesome you picked Fen for #1. Loved that album and was totally ready to do a write up saying how you slept on it lol. I've given it many spins already. Oddland was pretty good as well. I wish the vocals were slightly better, but everything else with the album was great.
