You know it's a great piece of work when you're watching a doco abt a former Megadeth drummer (my favorite) produced by the former Megadeth bassist and founding member (my favorite) and over an hour in, I haven't noticed there's no Megadeth music. Or any metal music sampled and edited in. It would have been great with some 2 second stitched Megadeth music, but not necessarily better. 🤘♾️

One of my favorite albums ever, like top 5, is Countdown to Extinction. The whole album is on my YouTube playlists. Psychotron and Symphony are still in heavy rotation but I always end up listening to the whole album. The flow of the tracklist is magnetic. This is a fantastic rockumentary. I knew of none of this about Nick, I just loved watching him drum. 🤘♾️

Bless you for making this, David. Thanks so much. I saw you guys several times, but Megadeth supporting Priest in 1990 at Maple Leaf gardens was by far the best. This is a story worth telling, and I'm glad you and crew put this out.

I met Nick’s father Don Menza in 1990 at the Reno jazz fest where he was a performer. One of us asked him if he liked heavy metal and he asked if we’d ever heard of Megadeth. He was very proud of Nick.

Nick was my friend on Facebook, 2016 was a rough year. I was 16, I had been playing in a band of my own & Nick gave me advice worth so high that it cannot be understated. R.I.P. Nicky, miss you.

Thanks for this! My favorite line up was with Ellefson, Mustaine, Friedman and Menza. I regret not seeing Megadeth during the 90s. I love Rust in Peace, Countdown and Euthanasia. I remember this passed February doing Los Angeles for 2 weeks and my girlfriend wanted to reserve a table at the Baked Potatoe for Valentines Day. I Felt a little of Nick's energy that evening while there. His last performance was there on May 21st, 2016 with his Jazz band OHM. He was one of the greatest drummers, ever! ❤️
