This Could Become the Most Powerful El Niño Ever Recorded
A super El Niño is building in the Pacific. NOAA has placed the odds of one emerging by July at 82 percent, with a two-in-three chance it peaks as a strong or very strong event by Christmas. Some forecast models are projecting numbers that would make it the strongest El Niño ever recorded.
This video walks through what El Niño actually is, how scientists figured it out, what the last three super events did to the world, and what may be coming over the next ten months.

It is not hard to rewrite all climate forecasting in the past 50 years, considering that's about how old it is.
