    been a fan of LD i think since 2020. it’s been great to see them get more people knowing who they are, they’re my fav band and i absolutely love LUS2, homesick, and YTIWB like crazy. i’m rly excited for their new project i think people will finally start listening to

    Discovered laundry day in a semi-serious way as they were supporting Teezo in London. I absolutely love them now and my first experience of their music was seeing them live.
    Their ‘drake bringing guest out on stage video’ from a few years was when I first saw them but like yourself I thought it was funny but moved on from it.

    Maybe I just coincidentally follow a lot of unique independent artists but I thought this was just a thing indie bands did? Most bands I follow that aren't "major record deal" or "huge music festival" big post a lot of their process and a lot of them just being people. That's what my band did when we were still together too. Regardless I do agree that being more "genuine" is great and strengthens the connection between artist and fans for the better.

    The music's not my thing, but I see your point. How an indie band markets (or should market) their music has changed. It should feel more "personal" and down-to-earth.
