These REAL Images of Venus Are So Strange, People Think They’re Fake
Photographing Venus means dropping a lens through twenty kilometres of sulfuric acid and an atmosphere heavy enough to crush a submarine. For decades, our only optical proof of the surface came from a handful of titanium Soviet landers that survived just long enough to transmit pictures of a yellow, fractured wasteland.
We spent the next thirty years looking at static radar maps, assuming the planet was dead. Then, an accidental thermal image from a passing solar probe revealed that the rock is so hot it literally glows in the dark. This is the story of how we finally saw the surface of our closest neighbour, and how recent data has shown it is still actively erupting today.

Hey~ Something nice that Astrum does is putting a CGI triangle on the corner of the video. It has become something that i can't live without heh. Maybe if you find an easy way to implement that it would be nice.

The light on Venus is not from the sun… It is from "near constant lightning discharges in the clouds above".

To be honest, Soviet probe to Venus was a failure in two ways. One is that it spent huge effort and money for a couple images and no clear practical purpose but also it used a lot of money the people needed. At that time ussr hospitals didn’t even have normal supplies available everywhere else in the world. We didn’t even have plastic disposable syringes. Didn’t have numbing shots for dentists offices except for extractions and root canals. People in most of the country already lived in poverty. So, not sorry, fuck ussr

To this day this is some of the most impressive Russian engineering we have seen. The obstacles they had to overcome to collect this data are significant.

can we inject a floating craft into the upper atmosphere, now we know the chemistry to use to our advantage rather than the brute force approach

The cooling with height has nothing to do with CO2. It’s the standard adiabatic cooling in every troposphere.

Trust is more and more important from my perspective when asking to believe in far off worlds, with mostly artists impressions to back up or illustrate 'Facts'.. yes, lots of trust!🙏💚🇮🇪

Why does the planet closest to the Sun actually lose the "heat crown" to its neighbor?
While the video discusses Carl Sagan’s greenhouse model at 27-36, it highlights a terrifying cosmic paradox. Logic suggests Mercury should be the hottest place in the system, but Venus is significantly more hellish despite being twice as far away from the Sun. Its 96.5% carbon dioxide atmosphere acts as such an efficient thermal trap that surface temperatures stay locked at a constant +470°C – day and night. This is hot enough to melt lead, zinc, and tin instantly. It is the ultimate proof that atmospheric composition matters more than distance from a star. Venus didn't just "fail" to stabilize; it turned into a planetary pressure cooker that makes the closest planet to the Sun look chilly by comparison! 😵💫

Yet so many people want to deny there is a God and a creator of the Universe. Earth just "happened" to be perfect in so many ways. Except for us of course. May God bless you all. Give him the Glory!

Does thinning out the atmosphere on Venus and thickening the ones on Mars to be more Earth like at some point in the future then make the planet presumably become habitable?
