On Today’s Episode:

You know why you need to develop good habits and how important it is to have the right routines in place, but knowing HOW to execute and get them in place is a different obstacle many of us stumble over. Being able to optimize your morning and evening routines are the foundation of any successful journey.

The key is they’re both linked to your mindset and desire. Get your pen and paper ready to take notes as Tom exposes all the ways for you to not just optimize your routines and habits, but also optimize your cognition, master motivation, and develop the desire you need to pull you through the tougher days ahead. There is no magic formula to success.

It’s grit, hard work, and lots of sacrifice and self-discipline. You can’t procrastinate your way there, and you can’t only sort of want it. Catch the level of energy Tom puts into sharing these strategies and tips with you, then go and execute.

QUOTES:

“When you start the day, if you get early momentum going, the rest of the day is going to follow.”

“When you’re struggling to get something done, you have a desire problem.”

“Success is a game of problem solving, but you have to really want to solve that problem.”

“When you can change state at will simply by remembering the kind of people you’re trying to help, […] when you get tired, when you’re procrastinating, when you feel lazy you can tap into that, the desire kicks in and now you’ve got the juice you need to push forward.”

“If you’re anti-work, if you’re looking ways to be lazy, you’re going to get your lunch f*king eaten.”

“Know what you want, Build the desire to get there. Put in rules that optimize your time and get rid of any and all excuses and weak moments.”

    Writing to you, December 1st, 2025. Hope you are well – I see you are looking a little pale and I was concerned so I went through your earlier videos from years ago. I randomly picked this video. I hope everything is okay and your life is improving. Do you have a dog? I hope you will find value is having one. My recommendation is to get a "companion dog" to help bring peace and calm to your heart and soul. It is a commitment, a lifestyle decision and will bring you to a higher place in a way no other animal can bring you through life's ups and downs. The ending is a tough one BUT, knowing your pet is moving on to its next journey is critical to understand and accept. Again, hope you are well.

    * Prioritize and Structure:
    * Utilize the "Lead Domino" principle:
    * Identify the task that will have the biggest positive impact and complete it first.
    * This will often make other tasks easier or more enjoyable.

    * Use this as a motivator: Reward yourself with a pleasurable activity after successfully completing your work.
    * Take Breaks Strategically:
    * Schedule short, regular breaks to avoid burnout.
    * Use this time to stretch, move around, or simply rest.
    General Practices:
    * Prioritize Sleep:
    * Establish a consistent sleep schedule.
    * Create a relaxing bedtime routine.
    * Ensure you're getting enough quality sleep.
    * View sleep as a reward for a productive day.
    * Maintain a Healthy Lifestyle:
    * Exercise regularly (e.g., meditation, training, walking the dog).
    * Eat a nutritious diet.
    * Daily Reflection and Improvement:
    * Conduct a brief end-of-day audit.
    * Honestly assess your productivity and identify areas for improvement.
    * Acknowledge your accomplishments and areas of growth.
    * Identify and address any recurring issues or challenges.
    Key Principles:
    * Proactive Planning: Plan your day in advance to maximize efficiency and minimize stress.
    * Prioritization: Focus on the most important tasks first to achieve maximum impact.
    * Distraction Elimination: Create a focused work environment to minimize interruptions and maximize productivity.
    * Delayed Gratification: Reward yourself after completing your work to increase motivation.
    * Self-Reflection: Regularly assess your progress, identify areas for improvement, and make necessary adjustments.
    By consistently implementing these strategies, you can significantly enhance your productivity and achieve your goals.

    Both inspiring and startling that such an insecure guy like Tom still today succeeded like he did. No Tom not everyone is insecure like you and "average", many work really hard at their skills and talents

    Hi Tom, Happy New Year 2024. I must say initially you impressed me when i first heard you and your incredble interviews and your excitement throughout Impact Theory. Many Years later, as I listen to you I can feel your ease and 'flow' on this new channel. I guess it's more than you just finding your 'voice' it might be that you are finding your place of peace. Thank you for continuing to grow and share all that you are. I am thankful for you and your team.

    This is monumental work. A similar book I read was equally significant in its impact. "Dominating Your Clock: Strategies for Professional and Personal Success" by Anthony Rivers

    I dont know if its because im just slow, but i find that videos like these are often so fast paced that i find no time to think or contemplate during the presentation, its just bam, bam, bam soak up the wisdom man. I guess its a competition for attention thing online. Imagine listening to someone in real life giving that amount of information in that amount of time, you prbly would try to avoid them lol – all in all though- really good advice, i practice most of it myself.

    All of this is amazing info! Thank you! One question though. Have you been tested for being on the spectrum? I only ask because a lot of what you describe as personal preferences in here are things that my son has done and he is autistic. You are amazing btw!

    I've been eating only on weekends for over a year now, I don't get much out of fasting for just 1 to 3 days anymore like when I was younger. I feel as I get older I have to try harder and harder to show my body who the boss is. It seems if I just look at food and gain 20lbs nowadays.

    I use ear plugs .. fall asleep instantly and sleep like a baby.. game changer because I don’t hear any noises and specially snoring. Also no clock in the bedroom and no shared blankets in the colder months

    I don’t know why, but it never clicked for me even after hearing Tom say over and over again.
    However, now I understand the concept that doing hard things that matter to you will make you more fulfilled than doing pleasurable and easy things and sitting around.

    Anytime i get out of my routine and clean habits i always will come back to his lengthy hacks to life like this. Interviews are great but Tom is wealthier and fitter and happier than most of them and takes the actual learning out of it. Thank you Tom you’re my fave mentor and you dont even know how youve changed my life yet again. Im sleeping better again and focused again and eating cleaner again. Thank you so much

    Hey Tom, I am a big fan of your show! I agree on so much stuff you're talking, You have a really good show!
    I am surprise about your statement at 4:44, Concerning Nuts; Isn't it better to eat nuts either roasted or soaked!!? Because of their High content of phytates, enzyme inhibitors and lectins? Looking on the web makes me even more confused. Does only people with bad digestive system or leaky gut must avoid eating nuts raw?

    excellent ideas.

    did he make this video before his marriage ?
    how does his wife fit into this routine ?
    is she in a compartment like everything else?
    I’m serious .
    lots of great stuff here but having a wife or a family can blow it all up pretty quick.

    suggestion :….make another video about how to do this with a family.
    thank you.

    I put this as a reply to another comment: WHat ABOUT KIDS. Optimal sleep is impossible in 1st 4 years, give or take a year…..Morning routine can be derailed by kids waking up early. I tried doing yoga WITH my kids – they just crawled all over me – cute! But i couldn't get my work-out in. I'm in the "golden years" now – my youngest is 9 and they make their own breakfast now, but I remember those early years well! The 1st 3 years are just keeping your head above water – lucky if you get the dishes done!

    I really disagree with all the videos on this channel including Tom Bilyeu Channel. This women of impact and Tom Bilyeu Impact Theory is all just about making money and trying to create a name for themselves which isn’t going to help in the long run. Just my honesty to this Channel and Tom Bilyeus Channel Impact Theory. I recommend Tom and this channel to read Henry Makows book Cruel Hoax. And also love and Marriage is the number one important thing ever because everything else can just keep happening. Good luck with positivity but to be honest there’s no such thing as positivity it’s just all in the mind.
