   Yeah, well that was 5 years ago when everyone still believed Jesus was white. (Oil was shut down here since NDP took over the province and barely opened up… Unless you know something the Conservative have kept hidden!?!?! Then again, nobody sources a damn thing anymore. We can't afford to own a pet anymore. It's thousands of dollars to perform a surgery that costs a tenth of that in the USA. Smart (and richer) people cross the border for stuff like that. It's a secret. The healthcare trap we're in is paying out billions to politicians that only DOGE is uncovering now for Canada accidentally!!!     Glad he spoke about the insane levels of racial discrimination we have here, but imagining 50 years ago white people being nice to white people is ignorant and also a pretty problematic world view…aiken to white supremacy. Whites had feuds amongst families, amongst states, amongst football teams rivals , amongst social classes, amongst unions and corporations, amongst classes and subclasses, neighbors…dude. It also mattered/matters what “kind” of white you are. Canadians are just nicer because their harsh natural environment didn’t attract as much as many greedy bastards as it did adventures and people who just needed a home. Meanwhile down here in the US it was all about the bread. Bless him. He’s a smart guy, but this might have been one of the dumbest things I’ve ever heard. Whites being nice to whites.

    As a Canadian, I can tell you that the reason we're so polite has nothing to do with us being "nice". We're polite because we're all secretly hoping that if we're polite enough, somebody else will offer to shovel our sidewalk when it gets cold.

    And the apology thing we do has nothing to do with being sorry. Saying sorry when somebody bumps into you is our way of saying "Sorry that you're a fucking idiot who can't walk like a fucking adult".

    This shows you the power of ‘point of view’ and perception. America views the entire planet from a bronze aged ‘we’re the center of the universe’ attitude. Everything else and everyone else is lower in importance or not as tough etc. meanwhile, a lot of other countries are more kind, tougher, stronger, more evil, more good, richer, less fortunate, and also exactly the same. Canada is a country, with good people and terrible lying scumbag leaders at the moment. Some parts of Canada are very Canadian, other parts are very much like America, except with healthcare and not ‘every man for himself’ like the US lol!!!     America was never like Canada, remember your history, Canada was founded by loyalists who sided with the British during the american revolution — we Canadians are loyalists, and remain loyal to the crown to this day. Americans and Canadians may look similar, but we do not behave similarly in many regards.
