Plenty of Ojibwe north of Winnipeg. Our Manitoba premier up here in Canada is Ojibwe from Ontario. I was born in woodlands Cree territory. Where the lakes freeze in with three feet of ice in the beautiful winters (mosquito free!!).

They can pull copper out of almost anywhere east of the Porcupine Wilderness up in the Keewenaw Penninsula, no need to disturb that area for copper! Don't take blankets from people named Churchill.

On a lighter note a funny story: I once mentioned to my mom how surprised i was that my German grandma never made a comment about my looks when i was a teenage Punk kid with aMohawk and spikes on my jacket with the Ⓐ- symbol painted on the back.
And then it all broke out of her "Well, maybe not to YOU, but you have no clue what i had to listen too!", turned out i had only confirmed her low expectations she knew all along the grandkid "from that Ami" was destined to be failure. She never critsized me because he had completely given up on me…. RIP Two world wars had made her hard and bitter
And my grandparents were no Hütler voters. But as diligent as she was she had kept all paperwork from before the war too and i have seen the "Ariernachweis" my German half was certified "pure". But their genes are weak, i feel nothing German in me, i cannot relate these people haha
