I find the gamebooks pretty interesting. The Choose Your Own Adventure Gamebooks and Fighting Fantasy there are other types though. The books didnt play around because the choices could lead you to a good or bad outcome even the endings. Some people back in the day started with these before going into the videogames like the text based games for the Commodore64.
