The War on Drugs: Is This the World’s Most Dangerous Drug Trade?
Raw Opium is a documentary and TV series that explores the opium poppy, a key component of heroin, and its role in the criminal trade. The film follows a timeline from an opium master in Southeast Asia to a UN drug enforcement officer on the Afghanistan border, challenging assumptions about addiction and the War on Drugs.

Hhhmm… it's all fentanyl and other anologues now, which is even scarier. There's NO DOUBT that the War on Drugs is an abysmal failure, and it's disheartening that the billions spent on it could have help in so many other ways like education, prevention, treatment, needle exchange and clean injection sites and access to Narcan. WHEN will this madness/foolishness CEASE?

Let's get real here. There will never be an end to the drug problem because there is just too much money to be made in drugs.
The half hearted jesters made to look like they, They-American politicians- are just a BS story so they can get votes.

Until society is peaceful with actual humanitarian goals, people will use anything to dissociate from the trauma and pain. This is an unnatural environment for the human soul

I’m of the belief that this is no accident.
Reagan used to”the war on drugs” as a tool for political, social and geopolitical control.
– He increased police power; disproportionately affected minority communities.
– During Vietnam he criminalized and marginalized racial groups and anti-war activists.
– Reagan backed contras in foreign countries, provided them with drugs, then with drug-control and military to overthrow socialist governments. Countries went broke and the US stole their resources.

The Americans are dangerous. I just found out that they have never heard of their country's wars before
