   I've loved this series since it first premiered when I was 9 years old and i still have the dvds of the first 3 seasons but Cleavant Derricks said it correctly that John Rhys Davies' Professor was the heart of the show and after he was gone the effects were immediate and the last third of season 3 couldn't match the first 2/3 or seasons 1&2..season 4 was just ok, with another main character gone in Sabrina Lloyds' Wade…World Killer is almost certainly my favorite episode from the 4th season and man I'm surprised i even made it through the 5th seasons cuz as much as I love Rembrandt he just couldn't hold the show up by himself,nor could any of the characters but I'll always love this series regardless of its flaws…thanx for the upload sometimes i think I'm like 1 of maybe 100 who loves it

   i remember Doorways, i thought it was an interesting story, then, Sliders came along, i thought it was a rebranded show like Doorways was the pilot and Sliders was the show

    Imagine a reality where the filming of a series is moved from Vancouver to Los Angeles to keep costs DOWN. Only a show like 'Sliders' could feature such a bizarre alternate reality.

    I loved Sliders in the beginning. I juat couldn't stay invested once characters that started with the show left the cast. It became pointless once you couldn't see characters like Mallory or Arturo finally "get back home". The behind-the-scenes politicking really seemed tone-deaf towards actually delivering a good story for the audience.

    The only quantum leap connection I see is teleportation. But one teleports through time and space while the other only teleports to other dimensions. Honestly don't see any other connections. 🤷🏼‍♂️

    Aw man… Remember the days when Fox wasn't just a right wing dystopian propaganda farm?! I miss those days. Kinda creepy that they predicted what looks like the outlawing of the constitution, though…. Looking at you Trump. I remember season 5. It was trash. I didn't bother with 6.

    When Quin and the other first saw the Kromaggs. It was assumed that the Kromaggs were aliens. It was later reveled that the Kromaggs where another species that evolved alongside humans on an alternate Earth. Henece the term Kromagg which is most likely based off the word Cro-magnon. Cro-magnon man is supposed to be an earlier extinct version of modern humans.

    I was just a little kid in the 90s and I watched Fox network almost everyday but I don’t really remember seeing this show. I’m interested in looking it up now though because it sounds like it was very revolutionary for the time. I do remember watching the Visitor. That show was really spooky and dramatic. Of course by the time The Visitor was on I was already 8 years old so maybe I just wasn’t ready for Sliders but I would like to check it out now. Sounds like the first 2 seasons were great. You revealed some interesting secrets about the production and as usual you brought your full flair to the video! Fantastic work on this chapter!

    I swear, when too many rich egotistical people get involved with creative content, they will almost always let their perceived brilliance find a way to destroy any chance of it's success. It's like corporate suits start to actually believe their own internal monologues from self help recordings that have them repeatedly tell themselves how great they are. It's shocking how many times I have seen powerful people be so absolutely clueless.

    This show is a microcosm of our society. The most parasitic and predatory people ascend the ranks of politics as well as company ladders and they drive away the best people who built what they bleed dry for profit.

    It's no wonder these people end up hording all the wealth. They are the only ones sociopathic enough to allow their greed to overcome any sense of honor, respect, or social responsibility. They are the only ones willing to milk everything dry for their own ego to be stroked.
