For another AEW Honorable Mention, I would recommend Julia Hart's "Harder Hart".
For TNA Honorable Mentions, I would recommend "Hands of the Wicked" (Winter), "Take A Fall" (Beer Money), & of course "Get Ready To Fly" (A.J. Styles).

Angles music was not made for Angle.
    Goldusts theme is incredibly underrated.
Type O Negative once covered Kanes intro and turned it into a masterpiece, however WWE never picked up on it.

Hey! Great video and channel! We'd love to see you do a video breaking down our very own Carter Brady and his latest no-skip modern rock record 'Shopping Cart'. All the best and hoping to hear from you!

One of my favourite themes is from a wrestler I never cared for but his theme always fucking hit and that's Carlito's "Cool". Even to this day I randomly just hear "I spit in the face of people who don't want to be cool" in the back of my mind and start dancing to that funky Caribbean beat.

Calling Jimmy Wang Yang a jobber is disgustingly wrong

But voices over Burn in my light. Even though I loved how he synced the guitar solo with his pose.

Kurt's theme was actually a preexisting track used for The Patriot in 1997. Thing is, it's so obnoxious it never really worked for a white-meat babyface, good old US of A gimmick. Always worked better with Kurt Angle's "I'm a real wrestler and true American hero" heel persona.

Triple H has three themes that are near perfect tbh, The Game, King of Kings and Line in the Sand (for Evolution).

Its no coincidence, because all three are Motorhead (an absolutely top rate band) working together with Johnson (who knows wrestling music inside out).

In defense of the theme in that Rollins clip, that theme song was for The Final Testament and literally debuted the night prior on SD so there's a good chance that was the first time he was hearing that theme ever.

What’s interesting, is Bryan’s use of Wagner’s Ride Of The Valkyries was initially coded by production as a way to make him seem goofy, unimportant and bad by Vince through using a plain orchestral rendition. Look back at his NXT appearances in early 2010 and it was basically heel Michael Cole with Vince in his ear chastising anyone for giving a shit about him as the indie darling to end all indie darlings was now in ‘the big leagues’ and they wanted him to fail. A real ‘who gives a flying fuck about your Best Technical Wrestler Observor Newsletter Awards, that doesn’t matter here kind’ of attitude, by pairing a legit grappler to be mentored by The Miz.

So to have this piece of late 1800’s classical music played straight for at least a year or so, whilst he used his technical prowess and skill as a lovable underdog to overturn that stigma and become the upper mid card/main event player many saw immediatly compared to most on the roster at the time to where it needed to be electrified and anthemically re-tooled to match that meteoric rise, is pretty damn fantastic and why he’s one of the best to ever do it.

I know Vince is a terrible person who needs to be left behind but the Demo version of “Sexy Boy” that Vince performed is actually really good. The instrumentation of that version is actually better than the official version (the Sax goes crazy).

Just make sure to delete your search history though, no one wants to get caught with “Vince McMahon sexy boy” in there.

3:54 that makes total sense to me, I made a similar decision in 2019 when AEW came on the scene. I’d been done with main roster WWE for a couple of years by that point, unless it was the Rumble or possible Mania, but was an NXT die hard. When AEW came on the scene, I made the choice to focus strictly on them, as keeping up to date with multiple promotions while working full time and trying to have something resembling a life is tricky enough without all the hours of wrestling that are out there. That’s what I love about the wrestling world these days, more so than ever, there’s something for everyone.

Also, that house show card was certainly… a mixed bag wasn’t it. Some classic house show fare, with what on paper could have been a sleeper hit or two thrown in for good measure. In my head, I picture Carlito vs Jonny Nitro being better than it had any right to be.

A bit of a deep cut but Jon Moxley's NJPW/Death Riders Theme is my all time favorite in wrestling. I could run through brick walls listening to that.
