I've watched it last week with my friends on my birthday (which is on halloween) at a bar (Dirty Old Man, which is a homage to Charles Bukowski). The film exhibition was part of an event of showing it at the same time in other cities across South America. It was such a blast, me and my friends had a lotta fun!

4:46 You forgot to mention that James Gunn got his start in the movie industry thanks in no small part to Lloyd Kaufman. And no today most people would associate Gunn with his work on The Guardians Trilogy from Marvel Studios (and temporary firing for tweeting Troma like taboo jokes) and finally becoming Co-CEO of DC studios.

I disagree. I think the weights smashing the head scene was pretty graphic for the 80s. The car scene was passable, but the pictures they took after weren’t for cable lol

Hal from Mega Mind is basically a design ripoff of the opening nerd dude here. It even has him being forcefully made more powerful and it being kind of a morality crapshoot.
