I’m most certainly late but I feel like expressing my perspective on Lost Boy, basically she’s singing about neverland before seeing all the flaws in it, finding solstice in the childish oasis as a way to combat the terrible childhood trauma

8 years later and all people want is to go back to 2016. i would say maybe one day they’ll want to go back to 2020 but let’s be fuckin for real the 2020’s will be kicked to the kerb as soon as they’re gone

I think "Sit still and look pretty" was popular due to trends on the Gacha Club community… I was 10 and watched a few videos back then, I could not avoid this song, it was in every mini movie, every singing battle or in their intros. Ugh, I have a personal vendetta with this song because of all the times I heard it.

Lost Boy is just so on the nose, like nose is broken and bone has been shoved up through the skull into the brain, theres blood everywhere and yup youve died, thats what happens when a meteorite of bland lack of subtlety hits you in the nose at terminal velocity.

2 minutes and 53 seconds of this video is about Juju on That Beat. The actual song itself is only 2 minutes and 24 seconds, and it’s the only song that the group ever made or ever will make. There is an actual music group who made a top 5 billboard-charting hit, and you can listen to their entire discography without breathing.

Tbh when I heard Lost Boy back then, I just assumed based on the somber tone that it was a metaphor for, like, escaping a painful reality through drugs or hikikomori'ing or something, or someone's dying thoughts. The concept that something so sad-sounding is genuinely saying being a "lost boy" is a good thing just seems wild to me.

I really thought "Peter Pan" had to have been a metaphor for like, child abuse or something in Ruth B's song. I mean why else would it be so dour and depressing… so what do you mean it really was just her singing about a book she read?! God the whole country was on Xanax in 2016.
