About the text messages. It seems to me that instead of making him “not a victim” it reads like he’s using what little power he has to fight back. He clearly knows the situation is messed up based on those texts alone. Even if I’m wrong and he ended up being 100% fine he’s still a victim. If someone steals from you and you were planing on throwing out what they stole anyway, a crime was still committed. It’s just lucky that it didn’t hurt someone as much as it could have. That’s the base case scenario, that it didn’t cause as much damage as it could have. A crime still took place, and therefore he is still a victim.

I bet they do have more evidence but don’t want to move forward and risk the not guilty verdict with the limited evidence and can’t charge her again, so they charge a lesser “home run” and hope that the kids change their mind and charge her with the rape

The reason he is also a victim is that she is in a position of power while he is a minor with less. It does not matter who, what, when, or why- the adult is always the predator when we are speaking about children. Children can not consent!! Not hard to understand.
I sadly, have seen this several times. When an adult bystander tries to turn it in, many times the adult is told to “mind their own business”!! It’s disgusting how no one wants to protect these children.
Parents should be their child’s biggest safety. That’s literally our job.
A teacher in my town groomed her young male student since ELEMENTARY school- and into Jr High. She was caught on camera giving him a bj on a hospital security camera. When the hospital called the PD about it, they said they couldn’t tell for sure that was what she was doing. 💀
The abuse went on for several more years until the teacher’s own son, finally turned her in. The victim was 14 years old at that time. When the PD went to arrest her she said “But we are in love!!” Unbelievable. They’re so sick.
The teacher’s husband even knew. 🤢

Those students weren't 12. They didn't run away. They fucked this lunatic and then made fun or her the whole time. They are least victim, victims of all time. You don't get to ACTIVELY participate in fucking someone and then say you're a victim because the other person is a loser. They were 17 years old. I wasn't getting groomed at 17. They need to held accountable as well. She needs prison, but those two students fucked TWO different teachers. And enjoyed it. Those texts weren't cries for help. Sorry. Everyone involved sucks.

Can we tone down the sexual revolution yet? Can we stop telling people "to get it out of their system" or "sow your wild oats"?? Because it's never enough. That's all I want. Maybe even separate girls from boys and have a campu for girls (they should get the nicer one) and a campus for boys. I think a lot of society's problems are rooted in over sexulization. Im not for 0 sex either.. I just think qe are oversexualized.

I mean I understand where the grandma is coming from and I don’t necessarily think she’s a bad person. Unfortunately we live in a capitalist society where basic human rights are not guaranteed, and this case could cause financial and physiological strain (because he may be trying to move past this since he is no longer in contact with her) as well as bullying since male victims are not supported culturally. High school is the exact time when he needs to be getting a scholarship so he can pursue higher education and be able to support himself since its hard to make a lot of money with just a high school degree. Obviously this is a little selfish, but we don’t really know his financial or mental state right now. It would be really great if him and the other victims could cooperate so that these teachers don’t do this to other students… but he is very young right now and should do what’s the best for him
