You’re 30 seconds away from being debt free with PDS Debt. Get your free assessment and find the best option for you at https://PDSDebt.com/Miller | Today the Supreme Court heard oral arguments in a case called Trump v. Slaughter, seeking to overturn 90 years of precedent (Humphrey’s Executor) in favor of putting more power in the hands of Trump. This is important for EVERYONE to know because it could have wide-reaching implications for every aspect of our lives and the functioning of government including, importantly, the integrity of our elections.

Is it bad that I keep thinking "hey, we should elect someone to the presidency who uses the supreme court's rulings against them?"

Cuz like… If the president is the Supreme Leader as the Supreme Court is clearly creating, then we should elect someone that will go in and do exactly what the Trump regime has been doing: fire everyone who is associated with MAGA, take down every scrap of religious shit they've put up, scrap all the MAGA terrifs, scrap all the "the children yearn for the mines" bullshit, eliminate child marriage in the US, fire (or just straight-up m•rder, because that's legal according to them) the conservative supreme Court members, appoint new Supreme Court picks, and then that Supreme Court takes away all the powers of the presidency so we can't have another dictator.

And any time the conservatives cry foul, just point to the mountain of their people who said it was fine. Maybe then they'll get it though their thick f•cking skulls that dictators are bad. That anything they empower themselves to do, it can also be used against them.

But noooooo! Instead we're going to have another corporate democrat who will try to say "it's water under the bridge" and leave all the heinous shit in place.

If justice makes you abnotious than maybe you should think about what you're doing. Your just like many of liberal pages fear mongering. That's not the people. That's you. A known fact for every bad post you put that's your doing. When you fear mongering people you are also falsely leading them. This isn't new to people. With bad information come a price. Ask any movie star that has ruined their lives. Your in that boat. I don't feel sorry for anyone who falsely lead people. That's your doing. When consequences comes that's your doing. Not anyone's else fault.

Hmmm, seems gooie, dunno that one chief.
Wouldn’t the at-work , at-will laws means anyone can be fired at any time as long as it’s not for something like race, sex etc. aka not listening to your boss means your outta here, anywhere?

SCOTUS, especially Justice Roberts, knows that Americans don't know the justices & have no idea what they do. The court has no respect for the American people. They do respect corporations though. Corporate officers definitely know every justice & often find ways to fill their coffers. There is no downside for the justices. Americans aren't mad at them. Like I said, the average citizen cannot name a single justice. We created this problem by electing Trump to replace Scalia & RBG. People think he's the villain, but Trump is just a fool with a big mouth. Justice Roberts is the greatest villain in government today. And he knows nothing will ever be done about it.

Thanks again for your work and reporting, Leeja. I checked my bookstore if you had written a book as well but I couldn't find one. So I wondered if you have written a book and if not if you're planning on writing a book? Kind regards.

Don't worry – should a Leftist take over someday, those on the right will be facing a holocaust. Once the left get this power, they won't give it up, either.

Both sides suck. Get rid of both & start over, instead.

It's like giving Ted Bundy even more brunettes. What a bunch (and by bunch I mean exactly half a dozen) of Christo-fascist screwheads who literally don't give a shite if they completely destroy this country for all but a super wealthy miniscule group of ultra ideological, authoritarian assholes.

When they are finished, we will have no means for the majority of Americans to make a decent living, no civil rights, no bodily autonomy, no checks on a psychopathic and dictatorial president, no real power in the legislative branch, and no authority for any branch of government to in any way regulate private business concerns and protect ordinary citizens from their radical capitalistic depredations. In short no countervailing power to check these economic elephants as they trample ordinary people by polluting our air and water, stealing our wages, restricting and watering down the power of our vote. selling us poisoned food, practicing discrimination in their employment practices, manipulating our financial and banking markets, and restarting all the other practices these malefactors of great wealth engaged in during the 19th Century that led to the Progressive Reforms of the Roosevelts.

All those reforms gone, wiped out, declared unconstitutional despite 100 years of legal precedents saying otherwise. A wholesale, un-democratic re-write of the American constitution by six unelected individuals who lied under oath about their intentions of doing what they're now doing. Just to make themselves the feted heroes of the worst group of right wing revanchist plutocrats the world has ever seen. Take a victory lap Jeff, Elon and Peter. Leonard Leo has pulled it off for you.

I think the next administration, should use all these rulings that give the Pres all these rights. To remove this illegitimate Supreme Court judges. I know it will never happen with gutless Dems. I also doubt next Pres will do anything against this orange turd and his people.

When the tides turn against Trumpism (it’s coming, he’s breaking down on the daily, and none of the sniveling toads riding his coattails can keep the party together), we need to make certain this can never happen again.

Why are we ramping up conflict with Venezuela? Americans, both red and blue, are sick of Trump's "MAGA 4th Reich" neo-nazi government. The Republicans would all lose the mid-term elections and Trump would then lose 90% of his power entirely. To prevent the mid-terms from happening at all, the measures needed to stop those elections require that the nation be in a official state of war for him to use those emergency powers. Just before the mid-terms, he will make a bunch of declarations about Venezuela and will force us into an official state of war with them. He will then use his control of the Senate and the House to give him emergency powers. He will then activate the measures necessary to halt the mid-term elections, retaining his power for the whole of his second term, which if his health holds up, he will then use those same measures to put himself into a 3rd term, under the guise of "our nation is in jeopardy", etc etc.

It's perfectly fine if you can't see it from the 30,000ft view and want to say myself and all the others that already see the slight alignment of things leading to this happening are just conspiracy theorists. But when the mid-terms do not happen, realize that we saw it almost a year before it happened, which means it was preventable.

Well, actually The Constitution gives The President, whomever it is, absolute authority over the Executive. The constitution is quite clear. ALL THE POWRS IF THE EXECUTIVE rest in the hands of The President. No exceptions! It’s very clear!

Supreme Court can do what it wants but if it is unconstitutional it doesn't have any substance! Just international pirates, well about debt, just let collections take over, when that happens you fuck them UCC 1-103, talks about contracts, you win every time without paying a dime, let America the whore pay it, it says federal reserve note on top of the dollar bills, not John Doe s note, let America pay it , it becomes a write off anyway! Y, L, V, G, I, W, T, F, Y, B, O, MS. LM!
