I actually count this song among the greatest funk music of all time. Right up there with Rubberband Man and We Need the Funk.

Travelling Without Moving was my first album i had heard from them and it had only made me get more and more into their sound as a whole. Jamiroquai has been such a staple for my library now.

This music video was my introduction to Jamiroquai. I’ve been hooked ever since! This album is a classic, a no-skip banger!

Gah I missed the chance to see Jamiroquai play small-ish clubs in NYC circa 1992-93. Still kicking myself to this day!

Today I learned, after literal decades, that Jamiroquai is a band and Jay Kay is the guy I always assumed was Jamiroquai.
This is like when I found out that Jethro Tull was actually a band and the guy was Ian Anderson, or how Sugar Ray is a band but the guy is Mark McGrath, or how Alice Cooper is a band and the guy changed his name to Alice Cooper but it was Vincent Furnier for a long time.
