The Sleeping Prophet | Tales From the Bottle
Tales From the Bottle takes a rare look into the supernatural, and a man whose story demands an answer to the question; “do you believe?”
“Edgar Cayce (March 18, 1877 – January 3, 1945) was an American self-professed clairvoyant who gave 14,306 psychic readings while allegedly in a self-induced sleep state. Cayce maintained his subconscious mind (which he identified as the “mind of the soul”) would leave his body and retrieve knowledge from the spiritual realm where all subconscious minds are connected. He is the most documented psychic of all time, with more than 300 books written about him and his material. A nonprofit organization, the Association for Research and Enlightenment, was founded to store and facilitate the study of the Cayce material. A biographer gave him the nickname The Sleeping Prophet.
Cayce is considered “the father of holistic medicine” by The Journal of the American Medical Association, most of his readings diagnosed illnesses and suggested natural remedies. He is also notable for his contributions to the notions of diet and health, particularly the issues of food combining, acid/alkaline diet, and the therapeutic use of food.
Some consider him the true founder and a principal source of the most characteristic beliefs of the New Age movement”

Remember – you are loved! Jesus loved you and gave his life so that you could be free because of Him! He died for our sins so that we can be reconnected with our Creator God. At His crucifixion Jesus took all our wrong thoughts words or deeds we ever did to the cross, paying for them. This is because our sins separated us from Him, and sin's punishment is death. While we could do nothing to get back to God, He sent His Son so that we could get back to Him. He rose again three days later proving His power over sin and death, and He is returning soon to bring all His believing children to Heaven when He returns, and let those who reject Him choose the only other destination (Hell).
He wants us to choose life. He gives us the choice to follow Him right now and have Heaven when He returns, and a true relationship with Him now. He wants us all to repent of our sins and receive a new life in Him!
A life of strength, faith, and the ability to truly love others as God has loved us. He wants us to follow Him, and let Him be the Lord of our lives. Why is that part important? Because through Christ we will be given the power to overcome sin in our lives today and to love like He does. Christ offers this blessing to all who choose to believe in Him, trust Him and follow Him xx He will never leave you nor forsake you xxx

🤔 Back in the late 60s, when I was knee-high to a grasshopper, I remember my mom had several of Cayce's books on the shelf in the living room…good times. 😉

I read a book about Edgar Cayce, and I had a feeling (PSYCHIC!) this video was about him. Dude had a hell of a journey, and was always just as skeptical about what he was doing as the many assessors that turned up to test him. He wasn't always spot on accurate, and toward the end he was shilling some sort of panacea that may or may not have hurt people, but I am convinced the guy was the real deal, one in a million. Anyone care to explain? Because I got nothin.

You know what? I was about to bash the guy until you mentioned he didn't want payment for his services. So even if he was fake, he at least didn't swindle money from poor unsuspecting civilians.

Personally, I do not outright believe in or deny the supernatural, how are we to know what’s really going on. Perhaps this is the gods messing with us or maybe just a crazy coincidence.

Hmmm, I wonder if Cayce's cure for losing his voice went something like this-" Tell the neighbor lady to vigorously massage my manhood while whistling 'Dixie:"

It is crystal clear that this story was told by Cayce himself. Thozse crooks often invent biographies of themselves and people think it comes from someone else doing a reporter work but nope.

Crazy how you refuse partnership with big money on morals, and then your small business mysteriously catches on fire twice as if to force you to accept the deal… Many such cases.
