The sculpture that looks like a real-life cartoon
Gibbs Farm, in New Zealand, is an enormous private sculpture collection. Its most famous piece is Horizons, by Neil Dawson – and it looks like a cartoon tissue somehow painted onto the landscape. To see it in person, though, will take a bit of effort.

Neil Dawson was the sculptor assisted by the technical and practical skills of my flatmate at the time, Bruce Edgar. (not the cricket player) I remember the time very well.

What sells it the best is it being on top of the hill showing the sky on 3/4 of the piece. If it was aground facing it would never work

imagine being that rich and the only thing you can think to do with your money is make stupid art and ruin natural landscapes… He could have planted trees that provide oxygen and habitat for wildllife. None of you will ever convince me "this is good". This is exactly what is wrong with the world.
