Watch blues traveler. Shoreline amphitheatre 10/19/1997. Watch the the vocal art. The instrumental is always awesome. How John popper finished the show made me tear up 😢 bad. I haven't witnessed too many people who reach celebrity status and keep a heart.

Always loved B.T. and I always will. the power of the band and the incredible presence of John,with his supreme playing and delicate singing will stay. Sheehan loss was a hard blow but somehow it showed John the way and the band is still out there kickin' ass and making great music for us to enjoy. I loved that little insight about the black cat. I had a few black cats. Very special creatures. One specifically loved hanging out in my recording room…even with the tunes blasting. And he'd also dip when the music was over!

I saw these guys in Park City with Spin Doctor and Gin Blossoms a couple weeks ago. It's rare that when I see someone perform that I am blown away.
I know I will never see a better harmonica player. He plays it like a keyboard.

Never saw this before and appreciate that this is on point historically. Bobby was my best man at my wedding and best friend. I started with them post college in 87 but had been with them since the beginning. Sheehan’s grandfather lived in OCNJ and his mother Liz was my son’s godmother, they were our neighbors. So I know the history pretty well and remember all the good times.
Rip Bobby you are missed and loved.

John Popper moved to eastern Washington or Idaho which is a hot bed of extreme right wing activity. He was pulled over in his pickup truck and during this traffic stop police found the truck bed was modified to store and hide guns and rifles.

I met John Popper at a house party in 2006 before I deployed to Iraq for a second time. He was incredibly gracious and such a nice guy. He thanked me for my service and let me take as many pictures as possible. He called my mom because she was a huge fan. I was leaving the party and he came out gave me a big hug and told me to come home safe. Don't know that you can be more of a class act than that.
