Honestly, the whole baiting EM into violating time crimes was fantastic
Telling EM just enough information to commit, but not enough information as to why they don't do it themselves. Just plant the idea and let them execute their own downfall
Did that myself once. I just needed them to continue believe that I was stupid and that removing me from my legal agreements wasn't exactly what I wanted to happen. They never once second guessed the consequences of what they had set into motion

Interesting. Evil Morty experienced life being a sidekick to Rick, then, he experienced what it was like to being the boss of Rick. Then, decided to escape to the multiverse we are Rick didn't exist.
But in the end, he wanted a relationship where he was genuine partners with Rick, basically equals. But he knew the only Rick good enough to be his partner was OG Rick.
Even though he tried to escape it, he couldn't get away from the need to spend time with his grandfather.

look, if he aint dead or they dont show his body being destroyed/buried or smth, he is coming back. problem is that such canonically technologically advanced characters get hard to dream up, cus you cant imagine what tech they could actually have, which is why we see so many turrets and guns, its rehashed actual weapons, which im not complaining about, im sympathising because the difficulties of ideation for tech in this show are baked into it. so evil morty will come back prolly when the writers come up with cool new tech for him based on time or smth

Although, the worst thing that time guard could've told EM was that he had forever to figure it out. If he's not affected by time in the normal sense and won't age, he'll have all the time he needs to figure out how to escape.
