i don't see Gorillaz as a One Hit Wonder. In my Opinion One Hit Wonders are only one time in the Charts.Every Band that is more than one times in Charts are not One Hit Wonders, its the false Definition for that i think.

I'd love a video delving more deeply into technical vs. cultural one hit wonders. Maybe discussions into the cultural or mechanical reasons as to why it happens. i.e. is it because of the way we perceive things or how the charts work? (I assume the answer will be both.)

It's ok about Lumidee. You can say she's a bad singer 😂 diwali riddim and her "uh-oh" carries the song, but my goodness, she cannot sing. I think her song was so popular because it relied solely on the riddim, rather than layer it with other harmonies, so it sounded GREAT over speakers, especially blasting over the car radio while riding through your neighbourhood. You could feel it down the block and know immediately that it was her song playing.
