I was listening to the advertisement of the jell-O or gelatin trick, and it turns out to be another liquid drop trick to lose weight. These advertisement on losing weight always seem to use TV celebrities and never end up with the product that they state that they are using only to introduce another liquid trip. Bad idea to sell a product just to get the person of tension a product that’s supposed to be available in your own home, but you still have to end up pressing it online.

At some point I knew the reasoning behind the weird jello recipes of the fifties, but it eludes me now. I want to say it was something about preserved (canned) foods becoming more accessible, or trying to preserve/dress up what foods were available? Like, this was how you made whatever shit you can afford more appealing or impressive when entertaining guests, or something?

A pressure cooker seems pretty easy to make, put a lid on a pot, you notice that the lid gets moved by the hot air inside, so make a lid that doesn't let the air escape, huh, the food cooks faster now.
