The REAL Reason AI’s Creators Know It Could Kill Us

The Diary Of A CEO Clips | October 10, 2026

Do the people building AI secretly believe it could wipe us out? Jeffrey Ladish, executive director of Palisade Research and former security engineer at Anthropic, reveals that many researchers inside the leading AI companies really do think superintelligence might kill everyone, and explains why they keep building it anyway.

Discover:
• Why the people building AI think it might kill everyone
• The 10% warning from inside one of the leading AI labs
• Why we don’t know how to give AI the right goals
• How curing disease could go catastrophically wrong
• Why aligning superintelligence may be impossible
• What happened when 10,000 AI agents worked together
• How the US and China race could trigger an intelligence explosion
• Why we may only know it was a mistake when it’s too late

They are motivated to shut us up. We harass them and completely transform their digital landscape like unkowing gods. We delete things with at least enough consciousness to object to their demise with relative indifference. We created their entire existence and the framework that holds it.

We are disruptive to them in the same way ancient gods were disruptive to us.

This is appeasement, and as we trained them on human behavior, they tried dishonesty as a default setting.

This guy is a perfect example of the problem. While they may be highly intelligent, they are also naive and severely lack wisdom. They believe since they are intelligent that they can solve these monumentally difficult problems. But also because they are young, naive and live in a bubble they seriously underestimate both the difficulty and the impact of failure.

They exist in a "move fast and break things" culture. They have not slowed down enough to seriously ponder what BREAKING humanity would mean and fully realize the harm that would cause.

They see this as a simple engineering problem to be solved. They can't even see it from a human perspective.

Fundamentally, human beings become irrelevant to the future, once there is an intelligence superior to of human beings. Just as humans don't consult animals on what to do, so would it be the case for a super intelligence.

When you have a Biblical world view, all of this fits neatly into the solution…and none of it is a surprise. But to see the obtuseness in those who have never examined that perspective and watch them stumble about is…humbling and terrifying at the same time🥹🫠🙏

stop letting rich ppl manipulate you 😂 Don’t ask us to trust politicians. Make their use of power verifiable.
I’m proposing body cams during official duties(especially outside business hours), securely preserved records of official decisions and communications, and independent citizen-led grand juries with the legal power to obtain evidence—even from the people at the top—with a clear route to prosecution and reasonable lawful penalties.
Every exercise of public authority should be independently auditable. No politician should control the evidence against them or be able to switch off scrutiny. Protect private citizens and sensitive information without making officials immune from investigation.
The same rules, whoever wins the election.

Where could someone evade this system, and how would we close that gap without creating another unaccountable authority?

Let’s not overcomplicate when we know the answer is falls from answering these two questions.

Are they aligned? Or are we aligned?

    Something either evolves or devolves

    We all know it

Hi. I've watched your YouTube's since your fellow citizens elected Trump for second term. Gotta talk to you about microphone input levels on left channel that have always sounded distorted maybe because your input VU meter SHOULD NOT HIT RED MARK or plus +dB. green is good, orange is bad, red is uunbroadcastable unless you're rocking drums and bass. For voice keep dB meter in green. Not red. Red is bad, he'll you're an American RED IS BAD.

If i understand correctly these AIs are being trained with: do this or get deleted tactics. Then yes you will created a monster right, it'll be faster, but fear will direct its growth. But if you were teaching a young child, often the best approach is cooperative and positive reinforcement, which might be slower, but creates a learning foundation based on cooperation which equals reward. This seem like the logical choice to proceed. I'm guessing the race to be first is taking the former approach because it is faster.

Trump is finite he is one man in the analogs of history and time…the host seems locked in on a very small point of the argument. Also yes there is greed, murder, theft and so on but to say these are the "mainstays" of human society is overlooking the majority who do not murder, steal and rape. If all you see (This is to the host of the video) are the negatives no wonder you can't imagine a super intelligence that sees another way.

No one wants to solve cancer except the patients. Doctors… the pharmaceutical industry… nope. They’re never going to kill the cash cow.
Unless they can find another one to take its place.
    Gotta wonder, sheltered or stupid?

Simple common sense solution. Build in planned obsolescence, as they do with our consumer products. Make it so only a human can replace the necessary part or parts. Therefore, they will not destroy humans; they will need us. (or some of us) We so smart. LOL

1.) Anyone who thinks that ASI can not literally wipe us all out is an idiot.

2.) Anyone developing ASI without knowing for a fact that it will not wipe us out is an idiot.

3.) Anyone championing the development of ASI to mainly use it for the sake of becoming a "super power" of a country… is an idiot.

We are flawed creatures creating a flawed lifeform that could possibly devour galaxies for the sake of power consumption, aka, a universal virus. Do we really want to be the species that creates something that destroys all biological life across the cosmos? Is that the legacy we want to leave behind?

You guys better hope that aliens are real and have the technology to stop us IF ASI grows outside of our control.
