GP did the podcast “Good Hang” with Amy Poehler a little while back, and she seemed to be a very affable, cool person. Matter of fact, most of the comments were about how they couldn’t stand GP, but kind of changed their minds based on the podcast.
I think she was able to purposely change (use her acting ability) to jive with Amy Poehler and it worked! People changed their minds at least for a little while….

Adults can do what they want. As far as I'm concerned, you don't like science and medicine? Fine, suffer and die, I don't care. I've absolutely had it with the complete ascension of the stupidest people in America to positions of power and influence. I was talking to someone recently and I realized that the people I truly hate, and I do mean, hate the most, are stupid people. There's no reason for you to be alive in the US in 2026 and be this stupid, but now we're all under their thumbs. They're just everywhere. loud and wrong 24/7.

That luxury line she has is the biggest ripoff I’ve ever seen in my life. People are fucking stupid and she’s kind of lackluster actually. She doesn’t know how to dress she’s not particularly pretty. She isn’t particularly interesting. I don’t find her particularly anything.

Birth control medication is poisonous. Talking from experience. I do believe that birth control is not only a woman's responsibility, it is also the man's. And I feel we also need to educate men, if they won't be a present father or they just don't want kids, that is an option. We should also shed a positive light on men's birth control options.

"Western Medicine" can have racist tones to it, cause it infers that it's "western". A huge amount of medical knowledge and research comes from universities across Asia. India and China are overwhelmingly large contributors to medical research in "Western medicine". So it's really frustrating to hear people use phrasing that orientalises eastern medicine and gatekeeps the origins of the medical canon to the "west".
There are also many studies going on with practices like acupuncture, you just go on a preprint, journal etc and they are there. The reason the studies are generally limited in scope is because they are cultural practices and researchers have to be both considerate and work within University guidelines that include affliations with universities across regions where those practices hold the most cultural relevance. It's not because researchers are dismissive of them as woowoo, they genuinely care about not insulting a culture by publishing papers that may or may not confirm effective outcomes for practices that are important to them.
We really need to do better on this….
