The Psychedelic Sounds of the 13th Floor Elevators – 1967 Pressing VINYL UNBOXING
In this video, I show my copy of the 1967 pressing of the classic psych rock album The Psychedelic Sounds of the 13th Floor Elevators. I also share how it came into my possession for a mere $40! I would grade this copy as Very Good (VG) for both the sleeve and vinyl. There are plenty of light scuff marks, but it plays without flaw and with minimal surface noise. The sleeve has almost no edge wear and just one small discreet piece of tape at the center of the spine.

that is very cool, and such excellent condition — but what i have here is the earlier pressing, which was in mono, label is yellow — bought it when it came out in 66/67 from calipari's music store in potsdam, ny — of course, i didn't take care of my albums, so the cover is a taped up mess, but the vinyl isn't too bad — i went for 40 yrs with no one knowing who the elevators were, even people who lived thru that era — until some kid saw my roky t-shirt, and actually knew who he was — thats when i realized that they were finally getting the recognition they deserved
