Goldstar by Imperial Triumphant. One of my favorite bands. They play weird avant-garde jazzy black metal that sounds like nothing else out there. Their last four albums including this one are perfect albums. Like the others this just has a lot of unusual instrumentation And there is even a short interlude piece that has a barber shop quartet in it. So far this is my favorite album for 2025 and it will be high on the year end list. They can do no wrong.

Had to investigate Ghost of the Machine. I'm a big This Winter Machine fan and this sounds like a heavier version of that. They only have three singles and the debut album on Spotify. From what I'm hearing I love it.

Hey Ken, I slept on Limite Acque Sicure and absolutely love it and need it in my collection. Wondering if you're going to get it back in stock. In addition, somewhere on SOT they got me hooked on Ujig and Clearlight, two fantastic albums. Can't find those anywhere. Thanks man.

Hey Ken, Dim Gray is the main band of Oskar Holldorff, who is the current keyboardist of Big Big Train. You're right that they opened for both Marillion and Big Big Train. I have all three of their albums and am a big fan. You're right that it's not in the classic 70s mold, although this album does end with a spectacular 10-minute track.

Ken Golden I have a dream that the Italian-American Jazzrock-Progrock-Pop band Nova with Corrado Rustici with some help can release a Box Set with the 4 albums they did. Their last album has not been released on CD. Their second album "Vimana" has Narada Michael Walden on drums, Phil Collins on Percussion and Percy Jones on Bass. Maybe they recorded some unreleased material? Corrado Rustici he will probably know
I hold my thumbs hard
Kind Regards love your shows with Pete👍

Is the Alan Parsons Tales of Mystery a reissue of the original "vinyl" album or it is just another version with the added narration he did later? The original album on cd was only available on the MOFI version.

Plenty to consider this week and though an order placed before the episode, more has caught my attention after this video. Thanks to Ken and Pete for this continuing series.
