Ken's right, Keith Emerson is the GOAT in rock. If you include fusion, then Chick Corea is the obvious choice. Once again, Ken is right 🙂

Funny thing about Marillion for me. Clutching at Straws is my favorite album; however, my favorite songs are Hogarth songs. Afraid of sunlight, Seasons end, easter, Estonia, neverland and everything on Brave. Hogarth's vocals are outstanding. Can't wait to get my hands on this one. Happy shopping.

Ken. On the Marillion "American Airwaves" double CD the 2nd Disc (Pittsburg) is actually from the 2nd leg of "This Strange Engine" tour, not "Afraid of Sunlight", so it definitely is 1997 as the CD says. Also, although you say that the '94 Mexico show has them "doing all Fish era stuff", the track list shows that over both CDs only 4 Fish songs are played, as opposed to 17 Hogarth era tracks. I'm only interested in the Hogarth era myself (not a Fish fan), so might be interested in this one, though I worry about the sound quality on any of these "gray area" releases.

Dang it! I just recently purchased Camel's Mirage, Moonmadness and Nude, still waiting for them to arrive. Now will have to place another order for The Snow Goose.

I heard Hackett say NDV will be drummer on the upcoming US leg of the Lamb tour!! Not only NDV’s drumming, but his vocal chops will be great backing Hackett as well!!

The current Hackett show is amazing. I saw it in Cambridge, a couple of nights before the Albert Hall gig and the band were having so much fun. Tight as I've ever heard them and Steve really is playing better than ever.

I would like to thank Mr. Golden for the "Sabu – Afro-Pop" CD I just received in the mail. I had no idea that Sabu Marinez was such a big name in American Jazz. He has played with Dizzy Gillespie, Benny Goodman, Charlie Parker, Thelonious Monk, and Charles Mingus. He also supported acts like Sammy Davis Jr. and Harry Belafonte. His Conga playing and jazz sensibility make this a top notch recording that never fails to amaze in its complexity and power. Too bad he died at age 48.
