The Only Rocky Explainer You Need For Ryan Gosling’s Project Hail Mary

I fell asleep, can you believe that? Sorry, but that's what happened. It left me with the same feeling as when I used the Chinese AI, which makes fools feel smart, because of the way it flatters you with the questions you ask, and how it tests you to see how much you know or don't know about what you're asking. My mother would have said, "It's for simple minds." That said, I'm not saying it's a bad movie, no, it has originality in the way it's made, in the musical themes used—in fact, there's one by a famous Chilean author, from my country of origin, sung by a famous Argentine singer-songwriter, and others from different countries, which gives it an international appeal. The character's effort to communicate with an extraterrestrial is good—a theme already addressed in Arrival, in an intelligent way. All the hype surrounding this movie seems to me to be just an Oscar campaign, nothing more. I much prefer The Martian, by the same author; that one had me on the edge of my seat until the very end. Both films are optimistic, I'll give Hail Mary that much. Sorry zzzzz

Love the book and the movie. The only issue I have with the story is: how does a species that "sees" with advanced echolocation, look at the stars, light years away, and see Tau Ceti is not being effected?? Or how at the end, they let Gace know his star is getting brighter, implying they received the solution and it worked….

This was near impossible to pull, Rocky the alien is better than all the Yodas (sorry Grogu)!

The only explanation? How did he not die? Did I miss something? He was near death next to his broken bubble, then all of the sudden he's in a new one rolling around just fine.

I appreciate this summary because I took my son to see the movie and he was a little lost. So I sent him this video and he gets it. This is my favorite book my favorite audiobook absolutely love it. Yes, there were changes from the book, but I still enjoyed the movie. Saw it on IMAX and D box.
