There are two reasons why I had put this on my watchlist:-
    1. While rewatching The Office, I discovered that they had many plans for a sequel/spin-off while the show was still on air. After all these years NBC has agreed to give this one a shot, there must be something special about it.
    2. The actor playing Esmaralda.

    That's it.

i watched the Paper, it was a good stand alone show what puts the pressure on this is the expectations and how they cant now replicate the humor in this day and age which constrains a lot. the flow of the episodes in the paper is fast that you dont feel like its a an average day at the office where the office was slow paced. camera movement is fast too. but it feels like its accommodating to what entertainment media has become the year of 2025. i want to see season 2 and hopefully they relax or something and step away from delivering whats expected as a sequel and be original

I think it's interesting that the polish version of The Office also started out rather mediocre, but with time it became a well-liked show. I hope that The Paper is given a chance to grow.

they should make a gritty, black comedy spinoff of drew gooden called "drew bad en" which is eventually canceled after the creator tweets racial slurs

I saw this thumbnail, then watched the series. I liked it. It would have been fine not being connected to the office, but then I guess many people (like me) wouldn't have watched it. Now I'm back to see what you have to say.

i appreciate the attitude and level-headedness you bring to the table drew. i think a lot of what cuts so deep about the current climate in the states (i cant speak for whats going on elsewhere and ik he lives in the usa too so thats the frame of reference im applying atm) is how isolating and cynical things feel. and it makes sense, but i also.. it genuinely does something so positive for me to see other people TRYING to find small things to be independently optimistic about. its very easy to be angry all the time, wayyy too easy. theres so much immense pain being felt for ourselves and others and fear of the future etc… it is critical that we find things to enjoy, and to share that attitude with people. to be encouraging about whatever we find doesnt actively make us feel negatively is paramount right now. anyway, thanks dude. and i hope whoever is reading this has a wonderful day. hang in there.

People are also used to seeing those shows in a format they can binge, like all of the episodes are available right now. They don’t want to wait between seasons or have to actually be left on a cliffhanger because they’ll just watch something else instead and forget about it.

24:01 Drew I thought you were making a video on the internet to tell people how to feel and you did the exact opposite. Sneaky video title, you just keep on finding ways to surprise me!

that person calling it "DEI office" is hilarious because the office is probably the first sitcom to have an indian character that wasn't a stereotype let alone a woman

When I first saw the office and parks and rec, community, 30 rock I was like naaaaaa but it really does take time to get to know the characters and then once that happens it’s so absolutely hilarious
