This video is not exactly objective, a bit biased. It presents North Korea quite acceptable, but it is NOT. For all who are really interested I recommend the channels "In the Kimdom" and "The Untold by Tony". You can put the full picture together from those two.

Excellent documentary & interesting documentary. Probably the has worlds' best looking, brilliantly architecturally varied & tidy capital city. What it could be in the future under a different regime or government.

These are not the Koreans we do not see. They are the ones the govt allows us to see. If you think ANYTHING that was filmed here was not carefully stage managed – from the "citizens" seemingly using their mobile phones at the bus stop to the power tillers passing by in that farm commune, you are naive. And look closeer at their skin, teeth, eyes – even the so called upper classes look malnourished and in need of dental work.

One thing you don't show is how people have to all wake up at the same time with the music. Their regimented life isn't quite as "nice" as you make it sound.

I watched a documentary about people who people who defected from NK, and it was so sad. The amount of families which have been spit up, with no chance of coming together again is heartbreaking.

NOT ONE PERSON WITH A DISABILITY SEEN IN A VIDEO THAT WAS COLLECTED OVER 4 YEARS? DID NOT SEE ANY WHEELCHAIRS, RAMPS, CANES, NOTHING TO INDICATE THEY HAD ANY CITIZENS WITH ACCESSIBILITY NEEDS. 😮

Loved this as I am really interested in seeing life in North Korea. A warning to others though it is very hard to get through the ads which pop up every five minutes. In a video this long ads should stick to every ten minutes iMO.

As a rigger, I was taught that the sign of prosperity in any city or town was by the amount of cranes you see on roof tops. I didn’t see any cranes in this video. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a city with no cranes. Pyongyang doesn’t appear real.
