A Tesla is ~4000 lb. Assume reducing weight by %1 gives you %1 range = 3 miles
Copper is $6.50 a pound while carbon is 20*$6.50=$130
So replacing 4 lbs at $520 will give you 3 mile range.
It needs to come down 10x in cost

My EV motor has aluminum 3D printed hollow windings,, actually not wound at all. The windings are flooded with an opil to cool. This allows a 900 volt battery to increase power.

carbon nanotubes are actually rather simple to make (dont quote me on that) but the current processes are EXTREMELY energy intensive… now… thinking about it… i think its becoming more and more viable as we keep wasting more and more power on compute. cause if we produce more power, it becomes cheaper!
