As a new Youtuber in his 40s, in a similar niche, please know that you have an uncanny ability to describe and articulate the high resolution ideas we all have but struggle to expound. In your camera external monitor you have a 1:1 aspect ratio. Is there a reason for this?
Im guessing it's for shorts/Instagram. Is this the reason?

8:17 interesting lighting tips I don't think I've heard that before about directly overhead lights.
meanwhile I do this one event with a guy who is now insisting that the lights need to be up above your head pointing directly down more or less this is a new change from his previous stance of blast all the light on somebody. I mean he still wants the lights turned up higher than they go but I don't have a lot of leeway since they are lights from Ebay meant to be mounted on your car. And no they're very hard white with no adjustments other than the color filters which probably aren't enough or the right ones.

Dude… it's intimidating how much emphasis on doing a good job you continue to exude with all of this. To say the absolute least. Would love a jam with you, cameras or no, next time I find myself planning a trip to the southeast of the US. I have so many questions… like why aren't you producing a show with all of this production know-how?!

I’ve spent the last two years preparing myself to make a YouTube channel and I’m at the point now where my process looks somewhat like yours. It’s draining, but it’s fun. Most relatable part was the production, reciting the same line over and over and having to trim through those in post😅 You being one of my main idols on YT, this video helped me a lot. As always, thanks Benn, both for sharing and for always putting in this tireless effort for us❤
