These creatures are dangerous when humans trespass in territory, don't maintain distance, haul food around with them and others, when caring for young, and of course, do not pay attention. Many years in wilderness and seeing a variety of "dangerous" animals with no harm except humans with firearms and bow and arrows. Sometimes with luck one human hits another.

Imagine completing a college degree in biology and then going on to complete a masters or even a doctorate out of sheer fascination with animals and then getting hired in a zoo – and then you have to listen to certain sectors of the American public routinely insult you for caging animals in "prisons" and making them "feel bad." The gall of some people to insult such dedicated, caring scientists and zoological staff. In many cases, they ARE doing valuable wildlife research, helping to conserve endangered or threatened species, not to mention educating the public with all that higher knowledge of these snimals.

As a proud owner of big cats I can honestly say big cats are just that big cats they get a bad rap for being wild killing Machines but nothing could be further from the truth they love cuddling and kissing and playing all day long

What the zoo doesn’t tell you is that captive gorillas have heart issues. In the wild it’s the complete opposite.

It's amazing how the keepers work with the animals and train them to do these behaviors. I love tigers but I also love hippos!

I just luv these animals 😭😭😭 I wish i had a job in the from a zoo keeper to a veterinarian so that i could watch them all the day take care of them n shower loads of luv to them !! They r just incredibly beautiful creatures omg 😭😭😭 i wanna give them so many hugs !! I wish i could a get a chance once in my lyf to take care of them understand them n get to know lots of knowledge abt each n every animal n i would luv them more than myself !!
