I grow my own veggies and freeze them, I raise my own chickens and have fresh eggs, now I'm looking at grazing goats, slaughtering, butchering, and freezing them. Corporate greed and political corruption has forced my hand. The only choice we have is to eat poison, go broke, and slowly starve to death, or fend for ourselves.

social media and youtube's spread of decentralized information and driving mass market decisions could come into play here in a very good way. if word got out about how this lesser-quality/cheaper meat was processed (probably infused with preservative and who knows what else) impacted health, it would potentially drive consumer choices and provide added value/capital to these smaller meat companies. Information spreads fast these days.

This is a great argument for cutting beef/red meat out of your diet. It's expensive. It's not good for you in anything but small doses,. Agribusiness meat is animal abuse on a huge scale. The workers who deal with getting it from slaughter to you are underpaid and they work in bad/dangerous conditions. Inspection of all food under the Grifter-in-Chief's flunkies/sycophants/goons will go from poor to terrible, so beef will be increasingly tainted. Sounds like the perfect industry for a mega-corporation like JBS. Do you really want to enrich them?

I have not eaten meat since the 1980's. I visited a meat farm many years ago and what I saw and witnessed made me sick. I am a few yrs from 80 yrs. old and very happy I did.

I voted for Trump, but his Admin has been a huge disappointment so far. Goes to show that you can’t trust any politician, no matter how much of an ‘outsider’ they are. Our government was supposed to be of the people, by the people, for the people.. but unfortunately the people are r3+arded.
