My grandparents had one mulberry tree in their yard. I LOVED going out and picking a bowl full of them. We'd eat them and then give a big bowl to my grandmother who would make a breakfast cake and put the mulberries in them. Seeing the mulberries reminded me of my youth. Such great memories!

For next year, why not fix the duck nursery? A little wire to prevent the small ducklings from escaping, that way survival is nearly at 100% .. a tiny fix can go a long way 🙂

You should build nesting boxes for sparrows and blue martins. Whatever birds that are in your area that eats flying insects. They would help your fly problem.

For anyone upset about Abby dog eating a few 🐦, there are plenty of natural wild animals that will eat more than Abby ever could.
Morgan, being g upset about the loss of life, shows he is a wonderful person/ farmer

It's actually been found that cats don't kill anywhere near as many birds as people think they do. Scientists analyzed the feces of free-roaming cats and found very little bird remains in them.

rattling a bucket of treats might help, after you train then to that when you do give them treats. – I thot you did that.
