Disney has been going all-in with their streaming series as a way to really flesh out (and milk) the massive properties in their library. The Mandalorian was the first big streaming hit for Disney Plus and is now paving the way for a TON of other Star Wars projects, as well as serving as a launching pad for some of them.

The Mandalorian definitely raises a few questions though. Like how many side quests is Mando trying to complete? Is anything a serious threat when his armor makes him practically invincible? Why did Moff Gideon kill his own men and give up his advantage? Why do the bad guys have a sensitive info terminal that lets you use it if you just have a face? Is everything about the Skywalkers, in the end?

    Hey, shut up I know I have said this in the past, but this is the freaking best pitch meeting I have seen!! So many great jokes, the most recent catch phrase, and It even had a minimovie about Producer Guy, with hero journey and all!

    Funny video! I kinda get the feeling that the merchandising opportunity dollar eyes arc is a roundabout way of saying “The Mandalorian is a good show.”

    Okay so in the show's defense, I think the part where they had to scan their face was about how the Empire is super racist and human-supremacist, has, like, NO aliens and doesn't like cyborgs (Vader being the exception), they had to confirm they were human. Maybe.

    When were we supposed to find out that Boba Fett survived Return of the Jedi? Seems like that just got glossed over here. I was expecting a callback when Luke came to save them. "You mean this whole thing takes place after Return of the Jedi, the movie where we killed Boba Fett". "Oh Yeah." "Whoops" "Whoopsie"

    Having not yet seen this show, but having had played the original Star Wars: Dark Forces video game, I was very surprised to see the dark troopers show up! Those looked like the second generation model, if I'm not mistaken? Maybe third? I can't quite remember.

    Did I miss something or was Gina Carranos character not mentioned at all in this? I’ve watched this a dozen times and just noticed that. Thats weird.
