   This sort of thing has definitely happened to me. Of course I never started a years long search for one of my dreams, but I've had dreams before that I've subconsciously absorbed into my memory bank, and I only realise when one of the people in my dream tells me, "No, that didn't happen.".

   There is a fishing game, I believe called Earl's Day Off, that starts off fairly normal and gets progressively darker. I think Markiplier played it in one of his early 3 Scary Games videos. Maybe you should check it out.

    I had a similar experience, i was watching vinesauce and fell asleep, my dream was like a movie and the only thing i remebered was the title "terminal 64" (in the dream they refered a portal in the middle of a river as this terminal) and days later i was sure it was a real movie, kept looking for it only getting mario 64 results and then re-watching videos i realized that was it, my dream was just Vinny narrating a horror mario mod istg

    the evil farming game doesnt exist, BUT, while watching these videos on the evil farming game, i started to think about a specific game i once saw someone play.

    i dont remember who played it, but it was here on youtube, and i remember it being this pixel-like game with a dark theme (at least thats how i remember it being), and the game would work like Stardew valley kinda, where you have to progress through a day, and each day would get worse.

    so, idk..i might post to r/tipofmytongue about this. if my description rings any bells LMK!! 🙂

    Almost 3 years later and this is still one of the funniest internet rabbit holes of all time. I used to lurk r/tipofmyjoystick back when trolls were already copying Sparta's original post. When I first heard the conclusion I was literally on the floor laughing. It was both so unprecedented yet so unsurprising that Joel was indirectly involved in all of this. Like of course he's the catalyst.
