I would like to know a little backstory on why the frog Brothers were aware of the vampires in Santa Carla to begin with. Did they have a family member go missing? Did they stumble upon a vampire nest? How would they know that they are real? Were they potential recruits of David's?

Even though this movie ended up becoming more mature and a little darker than Goonies, I still think of it as Goonies with vampires lol. That's sad to know Cory was going through all that addiction drama at such a young age.

It’s amazing the lack of research here. Jim Carrey played a vampire a couple years prior in Once Bitten. So he could have pulled it off as he did there but I’m sore he could have done it as dramatic. He has proven he can do those type of movies.

My 3 favorite childhood movie's 1. The Lost Boy's. 2. The Goonies. 3. Weird Science. I've seen The Lost Boy's probably more than a hundred time since it's release, and I still own all 3 on DVD.

I was doing door to door market research back in 1986. I was doing surveys on which movie posters people liked. It was the posters for The Lost Boys. Funny how time flies. I apparently was only 34. Now I am 74 years old. It was a fun project. I loved The Lost Boys. It still works now.

We’ll go figure, this was my favourite episode of yours, but don’t be too surprised because lost boys is probably my fourth or fifth favourite movie of all time. And still I didn’t know about five of these facts I had no idea about. Thanks for filling in my blank spots on this film. Keep up the great work and I will always be grateful and watching.

I think I saw this at least 10 times in the theater. As an 80s kid – this is absolutely iconic…one of the classics.

I'm privileged that I had the pleasure of meeting and befriending the late Corey Haim a few years before his death. I told him upon meeting him he was actually my first action hero growing up and he laughed and asked why. And I said because you battled vampired in Lost Boys, a Werewolf in Silver Bullet and futuristic white supremacists in Prayer of the Rollerboys. He cracked up and he said to me something like, "I really never thought about it but now that you said it I can see it." After that I became a friend.
I'm still very sad he passed away. Because it was shortly before my birthday. He didn't have many friends despite him being a term heartthrob coming up. The fact is, you never know what battles done if these stars are facing off screen. They may seem like they have everything in the world but all that glitters isn't gold. Corey Feldman also, as we all know, had those serious battles with addiction.
I will say in the short time that knew Haim he was a good friend. He didn't have many when he was alive and I hope in death that wherever he is now that I was a good friend to him.

Lost Boys is still so good. I watch it again every couple of years or whenever I see it on TV. My kids even like it now!
