Long live The Kids In The Hall.

This final episode was amazing and really felt like it was sending the show off in a blaze of glory… I am aware there’s still the Amazon revival season, and also Brain Candy, that I have to watch… but goddamn man… this show, much like Darcy Pennell, has made my life a lot less hell. Specifically over the past 4 years. It’s baked into my very DNA at this point. Dave’s pretty boy wittiness, Bruce’s admirable twisted humor, Kevin’s over-expressive personality, Mark’s ridiculously good talent and character variety, and Scott’s flamboyant monologues. I’m a Gen Z male of 23 years old, so clearly KITH was before my time… but still, even before I finally watched it from beginning to end, there were a good number of sketches I was aware of for as long as I can remember in my lifetime with how much both my parents always loved this series, namely Headcrusher, Dog For Whom I Feel Nothing, The Pear Dream, 30 Helens Agree, The Flying Pig, The Daves I Know, Monique The Pyromaniac, and Bobby Versus Satan. I’ve had quite the long history with this wonderfully bizarre sketch comedy series before I was able to even understand its core appeal. And wow, seeing a finale in which Hitler blanks a donkey, the A.T. And Love secretaries remove their wigs, and Bellini goddamn SPEAKS… I feel like I’ve just seen shit I’m not supposed to be seeing. This episode was a real treat, and even though it’s all over now… there will be years to come where I appreciate what these five Canadian guys have come to represent.

“The world has a brief period of mourning… and then it’s business as usual on the streets and highways that God built.” That really feels like how I’m gonna process it, mourning that I’ve got no episodes left (from KITH in their prime, at least. Again, there’s Amazon upcoming for me to see next), yet moving forward anyway and carrying my appreciation strong.

Oh yeah and here’s how I would rank every season:

    1. Season 1
    2. Season 3
    3. Season 2
    4. Season 4
    5. Season 5

I MISS these characters!!! Thank you for keeping them readily available whenever I need a fix. It always makes me smile when Having An Average Weekend plays. I remember how this show changed our world. A lispy gay monologue, men in dresses, (but that wasn't the joke) and their desire to play ALL kinds of women, helped to open our eyes to see how similar the sexes truly are. Yet each actor could also play the best/worst kinds of men. The comedy is no question, the social change it brought with it needs to be remembered. Along with satanic dinner theater. Continued love to you – Mark, Scott, Bruce, Kevin and Dave! And all who were a part of this, thank you!

I just finished s05e21. I started watching this show last April 2023 here on YT because I wanted to check other works of Mark McKinney whom I admired in "Superstore" sitcom and also because I currently have nothing else better to do due to a life-threatening illness (which I'm currently being treated). The 5 of them literally grew on me. The last skit made me feel emotional because this show literally distracted me my illness ❤ The way they buried them on the closing sequence cracked me up😂 I am sad that this show has ended but then I remember that there's still Brain Candy, The Wrong Guy (I have a crush on David Foley), Death Comes to Town, and the Revival ❤ After I'm done with those, I can just rewatch all the episodes again ❤ I love KITH 😊

Bruce explained that the Armada sketches are based on the KITH themselves. Kevin would always say, “come to rehearsal having eaten” already so they wouldn’t waste any time.
So “come having taken our medicine” was them trolling Kevin.

THE greatest Sketch comedy ever made. Ive seen this show countless times and notice something new every time, in almost every sketch! Thanks for making me laugh for decades, you guys!

The "Armada" is still afloat eh? Gives me the guts to buy a crappy 🚢⛵ n' sail into the horizon again? But I'd have to return for medication refills, Dr visits and any test deemed needed by him? I'm going to name my imaginary, dilapidated boat. 💦 "BLIP!"💦 😢

Elizabeth (Dave Foley's administrative assistant manager) tries to duck out of the group hug, still true to form. Brilliant run, Kids!!! 💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖

Has anybody ever paid attention to the little details in the back/foreground?
And what is the obsession with the number 17, and other cabalistic numbers? If you sum up the algarisms in the fore/background, its almost always 17. Its usually either a cousin or cabalistic number.
I get here, again, to the last episode, and will often go back to the first season. There's nothing that comes close to it, I guess.
I am open to suggestions though.

I had to revisit this episode after seeing the first couple new ones. In the opening of the first episode, they get dug up from this grave in the exact same outfits, laying in the same order. Classic.

That Armada bit is sad, but cracks me up. After 30 years, still playing in the same garage, and somehow their skill at the instruments doesn't improve one bit in that time.

What ancient Roman colosseum voter clicked on the 'thumbs down' icon for this?? I can see your not from this time and are confused??? You obviously clicked the wrong hand gesture?
See in your time the 'thumbs down' meant 'put your sword down and let the gladiator live'.
So, I can see you just clicked the wrong 'thumb' nail/button 😉
It's ok. . . just now days a 'thumbs up' doesn't mean 'kill em' or 'let em die' it's the exact opposite. It's now a positive!
I know you couldn't possibly have hated this episode and so, just wanted to help you out for the next time lest some other KITH fan finds you and decides it's 'thumbs up' for you???
