The Inner Game of Tennis – How It Helped Me as a Musician

How long does it take to learn the guitar? Is it too late to learn the piano? In this video, I look at a better way of thinking about our musical development. Rather than judging ourselves for where we are at the moment, I use the example of a flower in showing different stages of development.
What should our approach to learning be if we want to learn music quickly and effectively? And how long does it take to learn the guitar or another musical instrument?
The analogy comes from The Inner Game of Tennis by W. Timothy Gallwey.

Thank you! I'm glad I stumbled upon this and I hope I keep it in my mind while I struggle with learning the piano to help push away negative thoughts.

Nice one. Love the book. If you could explain your approach to practicing with the inner game, it'd be really helpful
