7:06 my mum bought the first book because she found it in a charity shop. Turns out it’s just a collection of their blog posts, not even a real book. The most unnecessary thing to exist

I want you to know that these guys came to my university last month. It was literally the same message… verbatim. Two monologues. Doilies. Why are you so happy? Mom. Yeah… pretty minimal!

Omg could we all stop hating on these guys? They aren't perfect, none of us is, but let them be happy the way they are and explain what they think is best, if y'all don't agree then just don't do it but spitting on them won't make you feel better about yourself or if it does maybe the problem ain't their lifestyle…

Honestly watching this as a person who collects things made me realize how happy it makes me. The idea that I would be happy if I didn’t have visual and physical manifestations of things that bring me joy, would make me happier, is kinda crazy. Maybe it’s just because of my adhd but the idea that my memories are in my head not in my items is crazy, my memory dies so quickly, the visual queues of items that remind me of those moments are the only way I can maintain those happy memories.

It's always so surprising toe how few people are able to figure out that the void or whatever is just a lack of having a community and/or thing (faith, ideology, clubs, etc.) to follow and be a part of

fuck minimalism. I'm a MAXIMALIST. my room is everything everywhere. not a single surface aside from the ceiling isn't covered with a poster, I wear two bracelets, two-three chains, and two rings on each hand, and I have random junk everywhere. and I'm always buying dumb shit I don't "need" for the most part when I have money.
