When the internet became cheap to access, we had the ability to do days' worth of research in minutes. Now it takes days to filter through all the BS and outright falsehoods to get a simple question answered.

Safe and effective, trust "the science." (just like trust the lord)Yup, there are a lot of falsehoods on the internet.
FYI "Science is a systematic process of gathering knowledge about the universe through observation and experimentation, and the organized body of knowledge that results from this process. It aims to explain how the world works by testing hypotheses and developing reliable, evidence-based theories."

I’m forever grateful that I grew up in the 80’s. Our brains were never meant to be connected at all times to everyone else’s thoughts and input and to the horrors of the world.

This documentary looks like it was created before the new AI tools such as ChatGPT Claude, etc., AI bots, Ai Agents and crawlers. It’s now gotten more advanced, sophisticated, worse. This looks like it was made before the end of 2025, early 2026.

…and many behavioral psychologists and others are working for Silicon Valley as well as government, political, and other corporations who have a vested interest in Gen z. As for gen alpha they are salivating at the opportunities, tbh.

Would a child who gets sufficient attention from their parents, teachers, other adults, be less susceptible to suffering from anxiety and need for constant validation?

All the so called healthy habits of humans like face to face conversations, hugging, proximity…ALL THAT were and ARE practiced by Indigenous people, people considered 'Not as progressive' and yet, here we are being lectured by the 'Progressive' who uprooted so much and now preaching human nature to humans

I know these are video essays, pretty much, but why can't you cite your literary sources?? It'd be nice to know if there's a volume of Huxley's writing that has most of these quotes rather than bumbling around trying to find a hard copy. (I looked – I'm hoping there's a compilation of various genres of writing because he was apparentlly quite diverse in what opinions he wanted to flesh out and present.) BTW – great documentary!! Terrifying, but very elucidating. And I hope ThriftBooks has "The People Vs Tech" eventually.

i think this is the worst doc i've ever seen, nothing new was mentioned, random annoying clips of nobody zoomers on social media raging about themselves, why even release this?
