"My grandma passed away, then my girlfriend broke up with me completely out of the blue, I thought things were going so well…"
Dang, I was expecting a funny sketch, not to be reflected back with the exact thing that happened to me a year ago 😦

My children went without their presents from their memaw and papaw who passed away three days before Christmas because of you. I find it absurd you would even think I would ever forgive you. Maybe an ounce of understanding from you before you drank all that eggnog or whatever it is you did could have prevented all the heartbreak and suffering you caused. Despicable.

You know what I always found odd about The Grinch? How people call others “a grinch” at Christmas if they’re not into it, or pay for a grinch entertainer for a party for their kids.

But Grinch was redeemed at the end of the story, he had learned to grow, and change his ways.

So it feels like it doesn’t matter how much you change or grow as a person, or become a better person with an open, empathetic heart – people will still judge you and vilify you, make you into a scary monster to scare children, as if you hadn’t changed.

Like the worst version of yourself is all you’ll ever be in the eyes of society.

Idk, feels like people haven’t learned anything from the story – otherwise being “a grinch” would mean someone who loves Christmas, with a kind generous nature.

So why improve or change? When people treat you the same regardless?
