All of the things in this video already exist. I grew up on a farm and planted my last crop of wheat age 24. Then went to work on commodity trading desks in the city of London. All food now is planned 2 years ahead by large corporations. Giant combine harvesters linked to satellites in space with six computer screens in the cab are not driven by the operator but they just monitor the systems onboard. All the crop is continuously weighted as it comes over the headers and the data uploaded to servers on another continent where AI planners optimise the output of seed and agrichemicals for the next season.

Your potato in the frozen French fry was specially bred for only that purpose and its date of planting planned two years ahead of when you chose to eat it. The millions of tonnes of food moving 24/7 on the world's oceans in giant ships are traded by computer systems. It goes on and on.

The only thing that wasn't real was the silly little drone putting a seed in the ground. The seed is planted by robot seed drills planting 10 hectares in an hour and not a human in sight. All being run by the computers with all that data collected at the last harvest and plotted by metre by metre by geostationary satellites.

Its here already. Your food is planned and made like any industrial product.

I doubt 2025 will be like this. That's in almost 25 years, we would be a type III civilization we are nowhere near that.

I doubt there will be any big corporations in 2050. More smaller farms

In the future everything will be grown inside many floors high buildings. As land at this rate will be next to impossible to purchase. Having said that, maybe most of these buildings should be built out of city in areas that are so called " uninhabitable " like deserts or rocky areas etc. connected by rails or drones (if you wish) transporting goods to and from. You wont need AI scarecrows inside of a greenhouse tower that is sealed off from the outside. Think quarantine level technology & farming in the future. Where everything that helps the crops /soil and atmosphere is introduced and monitored.
