4:47 Oh, FFS, Joey Pants!…One role in a Mob series and he's got the pinstripe, matching tie and hankie, the pinky ring.
Don Pantoliano, "Donny Two-Pants"!

Ford didn't just 'damage ligaments". It was a torn ACL. A pro athlete tears his ACL, he's done for the year. Harrison Ford tears his ACL, it's a character detail. It was also his second torn ACL… he tore the other one shooting Raiders.

The Fugitive (1993) stands as one of the definitive classics of the 1990s chase-thriller genre—a benchmark that few films have managed to surpass to this day.

The parade scene was the best ever! Also…NO ONE else could’ve played the part Ford played.

Joe Pantoliano really thought he was the star of the show. So weird that everyone humored him instead of just telling him to shut up.

Major spoiler alert: Why does Dr. Charles Nichols help Dr. Richard Kimble by offering to take him somewhere but then gives him money instead as Dr. Kimble coincidentally runs in front of Dr. Nichols's car stopped at a red light? Dr. Nichols had already known that he was the guy who had falsified research, was part of the conspiracy that got Dr. Kimble's wife murdered, and let Dr. Kimble rot in prison. Dr. Nichols had absolutely no reason to help Dr. Kimble when it would work out better for Dr. Nichols that Dr. Kimble go back to prison instead.

1. Daniel Roebuck also had a recurring role on the original "Matlock" series with Andy Griffith. 2. Jane Lynch has a very small part in "The Fugitive" as a pathologist who helps Dr. Kimble inspect research from the hospital's records. She later played Sue Sylvester in "Glee" as well as many other roles. 3. I once stayed at the Chicago Hilton and Towers which is the location of the last part of "The Fugitive". My yuppie sister was getting her MBA from the U. of Chicago and put my brother, his wife, and me up there for her graduation. My sister is horrible.

0:58 "Gone before the title card finishes fading…" FWIW, this movie has later titles than any movie I can remember. Theyr'e still going around the time Kimble and Copeland are boarding the bus to prison.

Surprised you didn't tell about the weird fact that in the end of the train scene after it crashed there was a mysterious person in one of the takes that moved slightly and they have no idea who it was. Likely a crew member, but no one admitted it was them. It was harder to see back in the day but when it came to DVD and was much more clear they can easily be seen. they took it out shortly after it was discovered in the later versions

Today’s NAZI/SS POLICE OFFICERS in Amerika would joyously shoot into a crowd, not caring if they hit innocent civilians… and would miss the actual target.
How do I know?
I’ve shot against police officers and they can barely manage to hit the side of a barn unless it’s within about 8 feet from them.

One thing I stumbled upon involving this movie, is its relationship to another movie of the time called "Chain Reaction" starring Keanu Reeves. Nearly the whole support cast outside the top tier actors are used in both movies. The two cops that put Kimble away are both cops investigating nastiness in Chain Reaction. Interesting that Sela Ward is in the Fugitive while Fred Ward is in Chain Reaction playing agent Ford which is a nod to Harrison Ford in my opinion. Also coincidental that Morgan Freeman is in Chain Reaction being an interesting choice across from the Fugitive. There is a bunch more that I can't think of off hand but it is remarkable how these two movies have so much shared between them.

Tommy Lee Jones stole every scene he was in, possibly his best ever performance.
