We live in an America where television programs, commercials, and movies are trying to represent a browner country; where Despacito, a Spanish-language song, tops the Billboard charts and where NFL players kneel during the national anthem to protest police brutality. We live in an America where politicians on the right and left appeal to voters, with explicit references to race.
And researchers are now able to pinpoint how these indirect and direct are shifting political ideology.

It didn't occur to me that race is just a thing someone made up until I heard someone say that and thought about it. Think about this…. there is no such thing as a 'race'. There are ethnicities but those are not races. We're part of the human race. There's no difference between any of us other than skin color and some cultural influences based on where we come from and what we've experienced as groups being labeled by the term "race". There's just us and everything else doesn't matter. So, we're arguing about each other and considering differences about each other that are differences only based on illusion but those illusions have allowed us to cause serious harm to members of our own species based on nothing. Race doesn't exist.

My class is like 80% Arabic, im Norwegian. I have no fears of this. I know people in my school with different opinions but the majority seems to be positive.
To be clear my school as a whole is definatively majority norwegian.
