November 30, 2013 is the day that I retired from the Army.
    Since December 1, 2013 I've emulated Forrest Gump….
"And just like that, my running days was over."

And then there's stretching; a different kind of pain to stave off a lot of other pains. Loose muscles relaxes joints, so they're not grinding on one another from the tight ropes of tissue that are wound too tight.

“I'm pretty sure I'm doing serious damage to my shins and hips, but you know what they say?”
    “‘Ouch, ouch, my shins hurt?’”
“No that’s what I say. What they say is ‘No pain, no gain!’”

Jogging was invented when the first animal on earth moved quickly but didn't sprint. There's no invention or epiphany moment to it except for those who are late to the party or the people who decided the word. "Jogging"
    "Sorry what did you say??"
"Idk sounds good though right? That's what I call it when I'm not walking but not quite running"
"Hmmm lemme try.. ""Joorgging"" ..There! Say it like that?!! :D"

As one of the fitness guys siad about jogging: its the redheaded stepchild between walking and actual running – either are better for condition or calorie burning…

Cross country and other distance runners actually frequently suffer a form of iron deficiency because of slapping their feet into the ground. Blood cells burst every step. However, its hidden iron called ferritin which is the iron that specifically helps your muscles breathe. A normal person should be between 40-80 on the doctor scale, but i was a 7. Even tnough my hemoglobin was dead center. Iron supplements and just 2 weeks later i was running 5k's a full 2 minutes faster.

I jog in First-Person Shooter games when I lag, usually via badly implemented WiFi and/or 1990's epoch dial-up modem internet connections

I tried jogging. I wanted there to be something athletic I was even vaguely competent at, but slamming myself into the ground twice per second was not going to be that thing.

When I was a kid, we were very poor. We couldn't afford the expensive extras (shorts, headbands, etc.). We weren't even sure what jogging was!

Honestly, the only thing that came close was running from the neighbors's dog; demon! You'd run to if you ever saw that hell hound!!!😮👺🐕‍🦺

I've been listening to scary stories lately but then I switch to these when I'm getting ready to go to bed so I can shake off the spookies 😂 thank you for helping me laugh so I can sleep peacefully, Ryan!
