When people in my friend group had the same names, we'd always call them by their last names, like it's the most natural thing ever and the funny thing is they never question it.

So I was like, you are husain number 1, husain number 2, and husain number 3. (All of us are six btw) It could be easily seen as offensive, but it is about the tone and how you say it.
I don't want to remember everyone's father's name, too much work. Nicknames also work. But it is kind of funny to be numbered as a little joke here and there. I won't shout husain number 2 in the classroom for example.
