Marvel has been trying real hard to get another big win since the so-so reception of all their Phase 5 offerings.

Well in summer 2025 they bet big on Marvel’s First Family, the Fantastic Four – and you know what? It was okay. It was alright. It was a moderate success.

The Fantastic Four: First Steps definitely raises some questions. Like what’s up with Johnny’s eyeballs? Why is so much of this movie just news reels? Why are big purple guys so angry all the time?

    Let me guess. "So what if FANTASTIC 4 (2025) is terrible? At least it wasn't FANTASTIC 4 (2015)." I will gladly stick with FANTASTIC 4 (2005) 9/10. For that matter, I'd sooner watch FANTASTIC 4 (1994) 7/10 than this 2025 film.

    I didn’t not enjoy the slide show and wish I had never seen it. The rest was high mid content though. Definitely a better use of my time than getting suckered into watching ai military history videos.

    I also questioned the science behind moving the earth and the after effects as in like,"wouldn't we die ?!" But I tried thinking of solutions too. Purple guy callback to That other Purple guy from those other movies they made. But it was a good decent movie. I also asked myself,how could Johnny decipher that language with just three word translation? Worse it's a whole alien language.
